Check out the new features!
Color Stamp Images
Since the first stamps, they have all been printed in color, yet virtually all stamp albums are in black and white. Now you have the option to choose how you want your pages to be printed.
Drop Shadows
You can give your page that extra bang with drop shadows under your stamp images. With one click stamps seem to float above the page with an eye catching visual appeal!
Grouping Stamps
Now you have the ability to group sets of stamps on the same page with a title and subtitle. This allows you combine, set aside and label ones that are related. Now you have the ability to add more specific information closer to your stamps rather than cramming it all in the header or footer.
Showgard™ Mount Integration
The image placement has been redesigned in reverse to ensure consistency in the stamp images by basing all the sizes off of Showgard™ mounts and fitting the image inside of it. This makes sure the mounting locations are consistent from stamp to stamp. Also, there is now a mounting frame inside that is the dimensions of the required mount to help ensure your stamps are centered perfectly inside of the frame!
Redesigned Stamp List
Now you can visually see what you have in your page cue without having to go back and forth through a catalogue or the detail page. In addition, the stamp detail popup gives you a larger view of the stamp as well as controls to move it up and down in the page order.
Dynamically Create Lists
Now you have complete control of the order of your stamps. The stamp cue flyout now contains control buttons that allow you to move a stamp up and down within the list or group. Also there is now a sort button that will allow you to sort your list sequentially with one click!
Redesigned User Interface
By far the most important feature of SAPro is the redesigned user interface. It has been designed to be more user friendly, and easier to navigate. Stamps are added to the page in a linear step-by-step fashion to allow you to quickly find, design, and print. Since this started as a personal project and grew, the emphasis has been on the quality of the user experience. With this latest design, a balance has been struck between ease of use, and powerful features. You should be allowed to create pages dynamically and flexibly, but yet easily and intuitively.
Advanced Search Features
Instead of prowling around looking for your stamps, you can now search them easily and quickly, finding exactly what you want. With an ever growing catalogue of variations and multiples, our goal is to have the largest and most complete searchable database on the internet. And did we mention that it is FREE to use?
Postal Service Image Compliance
Now all of the stamp images are pre-canceled on the pages to comply with the United States Postal Code for reproducing stamp images.
Rebuilt Page Rendering Engine
Built on the proven web framework Nerb™, the page rendering engine is totally rebuilt using PHP5 and is one lean, mean, object oriented number crunching machine.
On Page Help
In addition to the normal help and FAQs pages, any of the advanced features functions that are not immediately obvious now have onboard help features to explain the functions without you losing your place.
Stamp Cross-referencing
Stamps are about culture and history, therefore the SAPro database is now cross-referenced with sites such as Wikipedia, 1847usa, and Arago to not only help with stamp identification, but to give you easy access to the history of the stamp subject and the period that it was produced.
Left Margin Adjustment
Now you have the ability to shift the left margin to allow room for hole puncing.
